Ever heard of Japanese festivals, known as “Matsuri”? Matsuri is a traditional Japanese festival characterized by celebrations, fun games and festival food! On friday, July 7th, SFU JN have hosted a Summer Matsuri-themed event filled with fun games, delicious festival food, and more! (keep scrolling! 🎐🏮🎋)

First of all, we started the event with some icebreaker games to warm up ourselves before the highlights of the night—activities/game booths that resemble Matsuri booths! This included Yoyotsuri🪀, Taiko no Tatsujin🥁, Shateki🔫, Origami Tower, Team games, and Yukata Dress up!

👘 While attendees enjoyed the day filled with fun activities, they also had a chance to try fun, festival food including mini takoyaki, yakisoba, and karaage along with delicious snacks and desserts 🍡

Thank you to everyone who attended our first Summer Matsuri event, it was a fantastic celebration filled with fun games, delicious festival food, and memorable moments.
