[SP24] White Day

🎀 White day is a cultural holiday celebrated mainly in East Asia, including Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. It falls on March 14th, exactly one month after Valentine’s Day, to further express gratitude to loved ones. 🎀 To celebrate this unique cultural holiday, SFU JN members gathered on this day to play fun, White Day-themed games and have social time over delicious pizzas & snacks. 🍕🍫

First of all, the event began with a “Guess Who?” game with a Japanese/White Day theme. Upon entering the venue, every attendee received a sticker on their back with the name of a character/object written on it. Some of the prompts included Mario & Peach, Howl & Sophie, and Candies & Chocolates! Once everyone found their pairs, we moved on to our next game: three-legged race and spoon race with marshmallows on top!

The winners had an opportunity to be served first for our dinner—pizzas—and everyone had a fun time getting to know new faces & other JN members. 😊
